Adult English as a Second Language (AESL) classes provide English and American culture lessons to help students at work and school, their family, and society. Topics may include:

  • job interview
  • Conferencing with a child's teacher
  • Filling out forms and applications
  • Writing personal or professional emails
  • Reading prescription labels and medication directions

AESL students will practice their English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in class while learning about English grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary.
