Congratulations to the IVC Winners of UCI Intercollegiate Culture Showcase

 

There were 23 groups that participated for this event held on May 7, Saturday, 2005,
from 6 different colleges and universities in the Southern California area. IVC students swept the awards: They received four out of 10 awards in the 8 categories.
 
 

shopping for robots teamAward for Best Acting goes to the Skit Presentation, "Shopping for Robots by Edward Ho, Ramesh Chokkalingam, Jeffrey Tennen, Tam Wilfred, Erick Galloway, and Matthew Fiedor from the JA3 class

 
Award for Originality goes to the Paper Doll Presentation,
"The Gratitude of the Crane
Christine Wong, Katherine Norton, Michael Liu, Colette Kaori,Albert Jou, Raymond Liu, Jong Hoi Park, Karen Tsubota, David Uxa, and Marryanne Kinjo from the JA3 class
 
 
 
Kasajizoo teamAward for Originality goes to the Paper Drawing Presentation,
"Kasajizoo by
Polin Chang, Peter Kao, Rachel Kwon, and Juhyung Oh from the JA2 class




Paul ScolaSpecial Award goes to the Poem Recitation of "Amenimo Makezu by Miyazawa Kenji
recited by Paul Scola of the JA4 class




There are other participants from IVC Japanese classes and their equally
fabulous performance will be shown on Channel 33. Please tune in - the schedule will be announced soon.
