Psi Beta - Psychology student honor society
Psi Beta is the National Honor Society in Psychology for community college students. Irvine Valley College has an active chapter. Students take part in professional psychology conferences, service projects, field trips and social events. They also explore careers in psychology and learn about B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. programs.

To qualify for membership in Psi Beta, students must have completed at least one college psychology course with a grade of "B" or higher, have completed 12 semester units and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0. After paying a one-time only fee, membership is for life.
