Matthew

MatthewI was born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles County and after high school attended El Camino Community College. From there, I transferred to CSU Dominguez Hills where I received a B.A. in English literature and an M.A. in English literature with an emphasis in composition and rhetoric. I am an avid reader who generally reads two to three books at a time from a variety of genres. I am also enamored with the art of storytelling across mediums- literature, poetry, plays, film, television, music, etc. For me, the writing (composition) process is akin to the thought process and how we make sense of the world, so learning to write and compose provides thinking skills that are transferrable across disciplines. I understand the writing process to be personal and intimate, and I would be honored to have you share your ideas with me.
